Laticia-Anne Cannon

Principal Consultant & Executive Strategist

Executive strategist, HR and labor relations leader, Certified Paralegal, and U.S. Navy veteran, with nearly three decades of helping leaders see risk before it becomes the problem.

My career began in the United States Navy as a Radioman communications specialist, where precision, confidentiality, and accountability under pressure were the standard.

I went on to spend more than a decade with a major research university and academic healthcare institution, directing employee and labor relations, HR policy, and disability accommodation compliance across multiple collective bargaining relationships. I have since led HR, compliance, and quality work in global manufacturing, regulated consumer products, multinational specialty chemicals, and nonprofit settings, advising executives and boards through workplace investigations, administrative agency matters, and policy modernization.

Alongside that work, I have served as a Certified Paralegal since 1987, much of it pro bono for families who could not otherwise afford help, and was honored with the Connecticut Bar Association’s Pro Bono Award in 2007 and 2008.

My approach is direct and discreet. I listen first, review the record, and give leaders a clear, reasoned recommendation they can act on and defend, whether the matter is a leadership transition, a workplace investigation, or a governance gap.

Cannon Consulting brings those threads together: an operator’s view of HR, an investigator’s eye for documentation, and an advocate’s commitment to fairness.
